Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Today I have put together an anniversary card for my Mom and Dad.  They'll be celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary this weekend.  I'm so proud to call them my parents.

I've used paper from the Heartstrings Paper Packet.  I really liked the zip strip and cut the paper so it would be positioned right at the top of the card.  I've snuck ahead and I'm using the April Stamp of the Month called Typed Note.  I thought the typed sentiment went nicely with the paper.

XOXO

Hello Friends.  Here is a clean and simple card I made using the Heartstrings paper packet along with the January Stamp of the Month

The sentiment is stamped using Cranberry Exclusive Ink and I used the zip strip with Heartstrings for the fun arrows going to the right.  I love the quick and easy embellishment with the Sparkles Clear Assortment.

He Is Risen

I know it's a little early for Easter cards, but I just couldn't help myself.  Today I'm using the CTMH His Love stamp set.  I wanted to pair it with some fun colors and decided to use the Confetti Wishes paper packet.  This paper packet will look awesome for birthday cards and I really like how these patterns came together for this card too.

The flower and sentiment are both stamped with Pacifica Exclusive Ink.  For the flower I used the 2nd generation and the first generation for the sentiment to make that stand out more than the flower.

Heartstrings Valentine Cards

Happy Sunday!  Today I have the Heartstrings Workshop on the Go Cardmaking kit.  It was fun to do and came together pretty fast.

One of the many things I like about CTMH workshops is the flexibility of doing things like I want.  These cards are very similar to the directions but I wasn't a big fan of the pink extra thick twine and didn't use it much on these cards. I think it would look cute being used to tie together some fun gift bags or as part of a girlie scrapbook page.  I really like the Stuck on You puffy embellishments in the kit but used them sparingly.  It'll be awesome to have those leftover to use on another project.

You+Me

Today I have a super simple card I threw together using the scraps laying on my crafting table.  You'll probably recognize some of the paper was used on my most recent post with the future monthly signs for my daughter.  ;)  Since there was a lot of pink handy, I decided a Valentine card would be perfect.

I had a specific stamp set in mind that I wanted to play with, but I didn't have any luck finding it.  Instead I pulled the set out of the Heartstrings Cardmaking Kit.  One of the many awesome things about the cardmarking kits are the embellishments that come with it generally have quite a bit left over to use on other things.  So... in addition to using the stamp set from Heartstrings... I used a little of the Pixie Extra Thick Twine.  I fell in love with the stamp set and can't wait to start the cards!

When I was sneaking the stamp set out of the Heartstrings Cardmaking Kit, I couldn't help but take a peak at the paper included.  I instantly fell in love with the paper and my next order will definitely include the Heartstrings Paper Packet and Heartstrings Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Saturday!

Owls, Owls and Another Owl

I thought it would be fun to work a little ahead and have a few monthly signs ready for Emily before they were actually needed.  This also gave me a chance to take advantage of 3 more owls that were available to me in the Cricut Explore trial subscription.

I pulled out some Lollydoodle paper to create the 4th month.  The paper in the 6th month sign is leftover paper from my baby shower.  I'm so excited to put it to use already.

Also!  I figured out how to only cut the mats that were needed.  There is a symbol of scissors next to each cut item and the start out all turned on.  You can turn them off as needed.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Air Fryer Roasted Jalepenos

Whenever we are grilling dinner, Mark will throw a few whole jalapenos on the grill to have them with whatever we are having.   On this day ...
