Mom's Sugar Cookies

I don't usually make sugar cookies during the holidays because we have two wonderful ladies in our lives that both make great ones!  My Mom and my Husband's Mom.  This is my Mom's recipe.

Let's Get Crafty!

Ingredients:
1 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 350

Mix softened butter, sugar and powdered sugar.  Add oil ,eggs and vanilla.

Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and baking soda in a separate bowl.  Mix together with the wet ingredients.

Roll dough into small balls (we did about 2 inches each) and roll into sugar or sugar sprinkles.

Press down with glass to flatten.

Bake at 350 for approximately 12 minutes

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy New Year!
