This is a card from the Cut Above Birthday Kit.  These were so fun and easy to throw together.  I really like the way the envelopes included in the kit coordinate with the card and have the same yellow patterned triangles. I also really like the way the woodgrain is included on both the front and back of the card.

Each kit includes:

One of the Big Boys!

My Close To My Heart Deal of the Day for $150 arrived in the mail.  This means I received $325 of goodies for $150.  To quality for the Deal of the Day you just need to place an order on my website for a regular priced item.  The first picture below is one where I tried to get everything in one picture.

There are truly embellishments galore!  I'm excited to put the 5x7 Hinged Display Tray to use.  I'm also really excited for the Rosewood Mini-Medley accents this next weekend.  I'll be working on our wedding scrapbook and they will coordinate beautifully with our colors.

Loving Memories are Eternal

Unfortunately, I was in need of a sympathy card for a fellow member of church.  I think the gold shimmer trim really adds just the right amount of light to the card.  The background paper was from a 4x6 card stack I've had laying around for awhile.  I'm excited to put it to use!  The larger black flower and two white flowers were added from the Frosted embellishments.   The sentiment is from Big Hug stamp set under the Occasions category.

I added a little gold shimmer trim on the inside with a sentiment from the stamp set called Casual Expressions also in the Occasions category.

My favorite item this time around is the Holiday Card Kit.  I'm excited about these cards because I love that everything comes in the kit cut up and just needs some stamping and assembling.  I also love that I can either put the cards together as the picture shows or use it as a starting point and make whatever changes I want.

Introducing... Blossom!

I'm so excited to share the newest card Workshop on the Go with Blossom!  I absolutely love it.  I realize I say that a lot... but it seems like each paper pack that Close to my Heart comes out with seems to fit in perfectly with what I would like to be playing with at the time.  The three cards in this workshop are no exception.  I have to admit that I think the cute popsicles might just be my favorite.

I like the idea of stamping right on the background paper.  Like the "fun" in the popsicle card or the "YOU are worth celebrating" in the card below.  I also really like the layered flower stamp below.  The black really adds to the red of the flower and makes it pop.  It was fun having a chance to play with the Kraft Cardstock.

 

Two of the three cards in this set use a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 sheet to cover the white card base.  I usually have the card base showing through some.  For the "Make a WISH" card the red and green washi tape is actually using the stamp set included in the workshop on the go!  It was so fun to do.
