Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Today I have another thank you card. This one is using the Close To My Heart paper packet Ariana that is available through July 31st. The sentiment is stamped with Hollyhock ink using one of the fabulous stamp sets that come with the Art Philosophy Cricut Collection.
I pulled out the Wishes Card Confidence program to get inspiration for this card (see page 70 - I decided to turn the card from a vertical layout to a horizontal one.)
Welcome to my blog! Thank you so much for stopping by today! My name is Melissa Bigler and I love all things crafty... but especially when it has to do with paper and food! Please join me on my journey of trying new things.

Anytime Lollydoodle Card
Good Morning! This Lollydoodle paper packet card can be used for any occasion. I can easily stamp a sentiment on the inside when I decide to use it. If I give it as a gift then I'll leave it blank for that person to decide it's best use.
The flower is cut from the cricut using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge and the Pretty Petals coordinating stamp set. I used the pear and cotton candy ink pad for the stamp colors. These colors match the paper packet perfectly!
For a little extra flair I added some silver shimmer trim and a couple flourishes. I also included a small strip of the Slate Polka Dot washi tape. You'll notice the tape color darkened beautifully on the darker background once adhered to the card. Enjoy!

You Make Me a Happy Camper Card
Happy Hump Day! I hope you like the card I have for you today using the Close to my Heart Timeberline paper packet. I used the new Chevron embossing folder (available for purchase right now!) and the Art Philosophy banner and banner layer cutouts for the banners.
The sentiment and camper were stamped with chocolate ink using the Camper Crazy stamp set. I used our new ShinHan markers in Peacock Green and Bronze to add a little more color to the camper. Everything needs a little extra bling... so I added in a few Artisan Studs.

"Oh Baby" Babycakes Card
I love this card! Most friends would not be surprised because it has chocolate brown and orange... which happen to be two of my favorite colors coming together in one paper packet for Babycakes.
To add a little something extra to the orange paper strip I've used the Triangle Border Punch along one side. This border punch is new to Close to my Heart and is available for purchase from my website starting August 1st. Just click on the link at the top right of my blog posts. The sentiment "Oh Baby" is cut from the CTMH Artbooking cricut Cartridge.
I'm falling in love with shimmer trim and keep trying to find more and more places to put it. The bronze one matches this paper packet excellent and I couldn't resist the urge to add it to this card.
I hope you love it as much as I do!!

Owl Thank You Card
I had so much fun with my first post that I decided to do another one and share what I made this afternoon.
I love Close To My Heart coordinating paper and the Lollydoodle paper packet is no exception. Some fellow CTMH consultants surprised me with a baby shower this last weekend at our team meeting. For this thank you card I'm using the Lollydoodle paper packet. The sentiment was cut using the Art Philosophy CTMH Cricut cartridge along with a coordinating stamp in Cotton Candy CTMH ink.
The owl and branch were stamped with Chocolate CTMH ink. I used new to CTMH ShinHan Twin Touch Markers to color in the Owl in vibrant colors. There are 24 colors available that can be ordered from my website starting August 1st! Just click on the Close To My Heart link on the top right.
For a little extra bling there are a few Flamingo Dots added in.

Close To My Heart Card Swap
It seems fitting to me that the first card I post on my blog is the one I made several of to take to the Close To My Heart Convention that was held in Disneyland late June. It was at the convention that I got the inspiration to start a blog.
The card was created using the Timeberline paper packet along with the new chevron embossing folder. The sentiment was cut using the Artiste CTMH Cricut cartridge with the coordinating Casual Expressions stamp set. I hope you like it!
